2004 FEB 9 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- For many young women in Nairobi, Kenya's crowded Kibera slum, life is fraught with danger in addition to the hardship they share with other residents of one of Africa's poorest neighborhoods.
They live in constant fear of violence, rape, sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS, unequal access to education, and excessive domestic responsibilities.
