There's more to this year's NBA All-Star Game than the coverage on TNT.
NBA TV, the league's digital cable channel, is planning extensive coverage of events surrounding the All-Star Game. While TNT shows the events, NBA TV will take viewers backstage, showing preparations and practices.
"We're going to take our viewers to places they've never been before and give them material they can't get anywhere else,'' said Steve Herbst, VP of programming for NBA TV.
