It can be a long road back to fitness for an athlete. For Birchfield Harrier Nathan Morgan, it might be a short stretch of track. Say some 60 metres, which he hopes to cover in little more than 6.5 seconds. But this is no rapid recovery. No quick-fix route back to physical perfection.
Nor is it a gimmick. A mere distraction to his real business --the long jump.
