GEORGE the guinea pig and Jake the rabbit will make lovely pets for someone, but will not necessarily make good companions for each other.
That's the message that Karen and Lyn Beasley, who run RAGS, in Keresley - the rabbit and guinea pig sanctuary - are trying to get across.
The sisters say pet rabbits and guinea pigs should not be housed together in the same hutch as they will not automatically get on.
