THE sickening pornographic websites that led a musician to murder teacher Jane Longhurst have been crippled by The Mail on Sunday - just hours after the Government claimed that it was powerless to close them.
In less than 24 hours we closed one site and froze the subscription pages for another, leaving wouldbe users unable to pay to view vile images of women being throttled and hanged.
The Mail on Sunday also identified the production companies - and in one case the bank account - behind the sites with just a few Internet searches.
