SUN PRAIRIE -- Not even wooden birds against a painted backdrop of blue sky and feathery clouds, fake banana leaves and silk bougainvillea could camouflage the sub-zero wind-chill and convince us we were in Jamaica.
But Tropic-A-Juno is nonetheless a good place for a jolt of cheer, much of it coming from a friendly staff and enough heat in the food to thaw us out a bit. The dining room, in a beautifully restored old storefront with maroon and olive walls, a silver pressed tin ceiling, an open kitchen and big tables -- and of course the requisite poster of Bob Marley smoking a supersize spliff -- was packed by ...
