SPARTANS' Scottish Cup dream finally died yesterday at their ramshackle City Park stadium.
But for crisis-torn Livingston a nightmare will become reality today.
Derek Lilley's first hat-trick of his career sealed the Almondvale club a quarter-final clash at Aberdeen.
In normal circumstances, he and his team-mates would be jumping for joy.
After all, Livi are also looking forward to the CIS Cup Final against Hibs on March 14, courtesy of Lilley's last-gasp penalty winner against Dundee last midweek.
