The Boston-based Brazilian and Latin Jazz group El Eco has released its first CD, Two Worlds, which features a fusion of rhythms from Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. Led by Argentine-bum composer Guillermo Nojecbowicz, Two Worlds opens with the spontaneous and ebullient Brazilian track of the same name, an urgent sound filled with percussion and trumpet.
