RISE Learning Solutions Inc. has named Pamela Whitacre its chief executive officer.
Whitacre joined the Cincinnati-based non-profit organization in 1997 as a controller, then served as director of human resources. She became director of operations in 2001, then chief operating officer the following year.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University, she began her career as a financial analyst with Dun & Bradstreet Inc., also serving as a controller, director of finance and human resources director with the company.
At RISE, she succeeds Dr. O'dell Owens, who is leaving the organization on March 10.
