Feb. 5--A group of Cedar Rapids and Des Moines investors plan to bring a new noodle restaurant concept to the state, opening "Nothing But Noodles" restaurants in both cities.
Nothing But Noodles is a relative newcomer to the fast-growing noodle specialty restaurant category, which has so far bypassed Cedar Rapids. The chain was started in Scottsdale, Ariz., by Chad Everts and Scott Welker in 2001. Franchises have been awarded for more than 100 restaurants in 16 states.
Nothing But Noodles restaurants feature 15 distinctive noodle dishes and eight salads. ...
