CORVALLIS - One week after UCLA scorched Oregon State by 33 points, Beavers head coach Judy Spoelstra had no idea how her team would respond in its Civil War rematch against Oregon.
It didn't take long for her to find out.
Led by 6-foot-5 center Brina Chaney, Oregon State jumped out to a 16-2 lead and never looked back as it beat the Ducks 75-61 at Gill Coliseum Saturday night.
"This was a big bounce-back game for us," said Spoelstra, noting her team's inconsistency throughout the season. "I wasn't sure when the game started which team would show up."
