The late Harold Hettrick, who stood 6-foot-1, could be an imposing figure.
But his legacy as a conservation warden, avid duck hunter and a fair and gentle man will be what most people will remember about him.
The 76-year-old Hettrick, of Monona, died Feb. 1.
