BERLIN -- Uslu Airlines has secured its fourth landing slot at Quartier 206 Departmentstore in Berlin.
The independent makeup line, a 100-stockkeeping-unit range, touched down in Berlin shortly before Christmas. It's been on the market for about a year, premiering at Colette in Paris in January 2003. It also is sold at Barneys New York, Holt Renfrew in Canada, and on usluairlines.com.
The range generates about $470,000 in retail sales, according to Uslu Airlines co-pilots, makeup artist Feride Uslu, the chief executive officer and her husband, Jan Mihm, the chief operating officer. "But we don't put that much emphasis on numbers," Mihm told WWD. The ...
