They couldn't find a low-fat pizza they liked, so three Texas stockbrokers created their own. That's the story behind Heavens' Bistro, Santa Monica, California, USA, which promises "a frozen pizza line that is forgiving to your waistline and tastes delicious"
Frustrated by their unsuccessful search for a pizza that was both healthy and tasty, Heavens' Bistro creators Eric Gault, Jim Heffron and David Solesbee got together and decided to take matters into their own hands in 1995 by selling shares to start their own company.
Three-and-a-half years later, in 1998, a new genre of frozen pizza was born. The first three flavors? A 98% fat-free Barbeque Chicken ...
