At a recent reception at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, Gifts & Decorative Accessories honored the winners of its annual Cover Design Competition. Cash awards were presented to the students for their winning designs, which have been gracing the covers of Gifts & Decorative Accessories since April.
This is the fifth year that G & DA has sponsored the competition among the senior design students at the F.I.T. The contest was launched to encourage student interest in the gift and decorative accessories field and to support their design talents.
Of this year's group of winners, one cover in particular has already attracted industry attention. ...
