WHEN 30 human beings were recently killed, nobody was held accountable for their deaths nor were funerals held to mark their passing.

Instead, the achievements of those who brought about their deaths are being celebrated by scientists across the world.

These anonymous and apparently expendable victims were human clones.

The embryos were grown in laboratory dishes, some even allowed to develop beyond the stage at which fertility doctors typically put the embryos into their patient's womb.
