Feb. 13--Welcome to Sheetz, tap 4 is on.
Well, not quite.
But consumers may soon be able to buy a six-pack of their favorite beer at a super Sheetz store under construction in Altoona.
Some fear that the request, if granted by Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, will be a springboard for other Sheetz stores to add beer to their menu.
If approved, it would be the first convenience store in Pennsylvania to sell beer, Sheetz spokeswoman Nena Ellis said yesterday from her office in Altoona, where Sheetz is based.
