Feb. 15--Don't dare call them sweaters.
They are fleece coats, plush and comfortable, like the kind L.L. Bean models wear, except they go on dogs.
"Sweaters are dclass. They're tacky," said Beth Ferencik, half of a two-woman business called Jasperwear, a dog jacket company based out of a basement on Michelle's Way in Foxborough.
These are not ill-fitting "people costumes" with sleeves hanging embarrassingly on the dog's legs, said Judi Kackloudis, Ferencik's business partner. They are comfortable, dignified jackets for people who like their pets, Ferencik said.
