MOST people think that bullying at work is caused entirely by the tormentor. But new psychological research suggests bullying has a lot to do with the personality of the victim.
It seems the person being bullied is not randomly selected and that it is entirely predictable who will suffer in the office.
Frequently they are the same people who were bullied in school, years earlier.
This was the recent finding of a team of psychologists led by Peter Smith at Goldsmiths College, London University.
