(Adaptive Digital), a provider of custom and standard DSP algorithms, announced the availability of version 2 of its conference chip. The chip is based upon Texas Instruments' (TI) TMS320C64x(TM) generation of Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). With TI's introduction of the 1 GHz C64x DSPs, Adaptive Digital is now able to support 768 channels of full-featured teleconferencing.
