AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott will launch Big Brothers Big Sisters' statewide centennial celebration this Friday, February 20, 2004, as he makes stops in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The tour of Texas is part of an endorsement of the impact that Big Brothers Big Sisters activities and volunteers have had on Texas children. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is celebrating 100 years of mentoring children.
The four-city tour will start in Austin and take place at the Texas State Capitol from 8 - 8:30 a.m., the Dallas event will take place from 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Thomas Jefferson High School, the Houston ...
