WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Thirty-five of the industry's top engineering professionals have been selected to present the highlights of their papers during seven technical sessions focusing on the latest in broadband technology at The 2004 National Show.

The 53rd Annual Convention and International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) will take place May 2 - 5, 2004 in New Orleans.

Topics for the sessions include video-on-demand, bandwidth management, optical digital network architecture, in-home media storage and distribution, Internet Protocol (IP) transport, and encoding. The sessions are:
