The companies controlled by Bunge's Brazilian subsidiary - Bunge Alimentos and Bunge Fertilizantes - ended 2003 with a net profit of R$917mil, against a loss of R$333mil posted in 2002. Bunge Brasil had a turnover of R$18.4bil, a growth of 42% in comparison with the R$13mil posted in 2002. Last year, the export income totaled R$7.1bil, 54% more than the R$4.61bil posted in 2002.
