LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 18, 2004, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities granted Mount Holly Water a 9.59 percent overall rate increase. These rates will not go into effect until July 2004. Prior to today's ruling, the Company's last rate increase was effective in January 2000.
Under the new rates:
-- The average quarterly bill for a customer in Mount Holly using 21,000
gallons of water would increase from $84.73 to $93.02, an increase of
9.78 percent.
-- The average quarterly bill for a customer in New Egypt using 21,000
gallons of water would increase from $83.68 to $91.85, an increase of
9.76 percent. ...
