OAKLAND, Calif. _ The nine-player trade that sent Antawn Jamison to the Dallas Mavericks for Nick Van Exel in the offseason hasn't quite worked out on the court like the Warriors had hoped. That trade, however, did help straighten up what had been a messy long-term cap situation for Golden State.
General manager Garry St. Jean said Thursday_after the Warriors didn't pull off a trade before the noon deadline_he wasn't about to go dirtying up the place again.
