EU HARMONY was in tatters last night after Tony Blair was warned by a close ally that his decision to cosy up to France and Germany was a 'mistake'.
Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi was furious that he was left out of the Berlin summit held on Wednesday by German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, French President Jacques Chirac and Mr Blair.
Mr Berlusconi - who took an enormous political gamble by backing Mr Blair's stand on the Iraq war - said the other EU members would reject the Big Three's attempts to dominate Europe.
He rejected outright their proposal for a powerful EU economic reform tsar, saying: 'There is no agreement in Europe about this ...
