Q: I bought a house last June and hired a licensed home inspector to report on the property's condition.
He charged $250 and told me that the house was in good condition, with a few minor exceptions. But I've now learned that there are serious problems with the heating and air conditioning systems. When I tried to contact the inspector, I learned that he closed his business. Is there a licensing board that deals with home inspectors?
