SAN JOSE, Calif. _ San Francisco's same-sex wedding procession survived its fourth trip to a judge Friday, as opponents exhausted their efforts to immediately quash the city's unprecedented exercise in civil disobedience and settled in for a long legal fight.
And, for the first time since San Francisco began issuing same-sex licenses on Feb. 12, it was joined by another locality, Sandoval County in New Mexico, but only briefly.
