Article: Saudi Aramco Paints Rosy Reserves Picture.

WASHINGTON -- Senior Saudi oil officials said on Tuesday that the kingdom is capable of boosting production to a sustainable 15 million barrels per day for the next 50 years if the world oil market requires it, but they failed to convince a leading analyst who believes the days of cheap and easy Saudi oil are numbered.

Aramco executives Mahmoud Abdul Baqi, vice president of exploration, and Nansen Saleri, reservoir management manager, faced off with Houston-based oil consultant Matthew Simmons, president of Simmons and Company, at a standing- room-only seminar on the future of Saudi oil hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
