The Committee report, to be debated and put to the vote at the March 8-11 plenary session in Strasbourg, welcomes the fact that the revised list of priority projects (list of projects of common interest eligible for Community part-funding) includes development of the motorways of the sea, but considers the project too vague in its present form. It therefore calls on the Commission to publish within one year a list of specific projects upon which work may commence during the current or future programming periods. For now, the motorways of the sea project (project 21 in the priority list) does not define any specific projects in detail but refers only to the maritime regions ...
