INTRODUCTION

Music therapy has been reported to modulate immunological and physiological responses. Music therapy (1) decreased peripheral blood cell count of lymphocytes and neutrophils, (2) increased salivary sectretory IgA, (3) decreased plasma beta-endorphin and coritsol, and (4) counteracted the increase in heart rate and blood pressure during treadmill running in normal subjects.
