Argentina's Federal Minister for Planning, Julio De Vido, indicated on February 13 that disagreements with the Franco-Belgian utility group Suez over Aguas Argentinas concern the level of investment by the subsidiary over the current year. "We are demanding a certain sum, the company another", said Mr De Vido. The Argentine press reports that the Government would like to see Aguas Argentinas, the company responsible for water services and sewers in Buenos Aires, invest 242 million Pesos (Euro 65 million) in 2004.
