Peter Sander, CEO of the Illinois Automobile Dealers Association, acknowledges forging signatures to collect bonuses from the National Automobile Dealers Association.
But a Chevrolet dealer and NADA director for Illinois whose signature was one of those that Sander counterfeited is seeking his dismissal.
Sander and his defenders in the national and state associations say he did nothing wrong.
