Proclamation signing launches Chamorro Month in Guam

HAGATNA, GUAM --- With arms raised to the heavens, 18 young Chamorros chanted yesterday (25 Feb) the words of Puntan Fu'una, the legend in the creation of Guam, helping usher in a month-long celebration of the Chamorro culture. The group is a part of Lina'la Kinahulo', a dance troupe that participated in the proclamation signing that kicked off Mes Chamorro - Chamorro month - held at the Chamorro Village yesterday.
