KULIM, Malaysia, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Ho Wah Genting Kintron SDN. BHD. wishes to notify consumers and merchandisers that models KB-1F cube taps (39 pcs) indoor extension cords that are manufactured by Ho Wah Genting Kintron SDN. BHD. may result in a possible shock hazard. It was found that these cube taps had enclosure halves that may separate, exposing live parts that could result in a possible shock hazard.

A total of 39 pcs of KB-1F cube taps had UL label numbers from BV8869 to 8935, and were manufactured in March 2000. Only these KB-1F cube taps described above are included in this notice.
