Feb. 27--A traffic jam on the Mississippi River is expected to hit consumers in the form of higher prices at the gas pump this week.
But don't lay all the blame on a supply boat that sank Saturday, blocking the flow of other boats from refineries that take the river to the Gulf of Mexico. The river has reopened, but gasoline supplies were already tight for a number of other reasons, the experts say.
