President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has complied with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) resolution that requires all national and local candidates in the May elections to undergo the mandatory drug test.
Lawyer Joslyn de Mesa, of the Comelecs law department, disclosed that of the six presidential candidates, so far, only Mrs. Arroyo has complied with the mandatory drug testing.
She said the poll body is giving former Sen. Raul Roco, Sen. Panfilo Lacson, Fernando Poe Jr., Eddie Villanueva, and Eddie Gil until today (Monday) to submit their drug test certificates.
