President Arroyo and her running mate, Sen. Noli de Castro, barnstormed yesterday the province of Rizal and wooed the votes of its residents in the May 10 presidential and local elections with a vow to pursue measures to reverse the dismal state of the countrys agricultural sector.
On the third day of the 90-day campaign, the President promised hundreds of Rizal fisherfolk and farmers, including womens groups, that her administration, once given a fresh mandate, will continue to give priority to extending support services and financial assistance to them.
