As a youth, Randy Auve worried about losing his hair. Now he worries about just the opposite: a cure for baldness.
Auve is in the hair replacement business. And unless someone finds a cure for hair loss, Auve's company will always have customers, he says: There will always be men looking for ways to preserve their hair and their vanity.
Owner of Ultimate Hair Dynamics in San Diego, Auve, 29, shows up on late night TV in his half-hour commercial touting his "hair systems." In these commercials, balding men are depicted enjoying life with, thanks to a hairpiece, a full head of hair.
