Hungarian press review, 02/03/2004 (02/02)
Budapest. March 2. INTERFAX-EUROPE - CONSUMER ELECTRONICS MARKET CONTINUES TO EXPAND. The turnover of the consumer electronics market was HUF 120 billion last year, up 20% from 2002, according to market research institute GfK Hungaria. Demand for DVD players increased sharply, with 9% of households having a DVD player, up from 4.5% in the previous year. Almost every household, 94% has a color television set, while 13% had more than one last year. (Napi Gazdasag, p. 4)
