WOODLAND HILLS - Actress-comedienne Lu Leonard thought her 50-year Hollywood career would end with her as a doddering old lady in a rundown L.A. bungalow, tottering out for her Social Security check.
Instead, Leonard, who had roles in ``Annie,'' ``Micki & Maude'' and TV's ``Jake and the Fatman,'' landed a suite at the landmark complex known to most people as the Motion Picture Home - a 48-acre health-care and retirement paradise for veteran entertainers and industry professionals run by the Motion Picture & Television Fund.
