PARIS -- The Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge Foundation is chaos. A week before its scheduled opening, on March 5, painters, carpenters and masons are working overtime, scurrying pell-mell about the scaffolding, paintbrushes and hammers in hand. A house that has hibernated since Saint Laurent retired three years ago is once again consumed with urgency. It has found a second calling.
