TOKYO, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Japan's many attractions to excite and delight foreign tourists need to be more strongly promoted abroad, foreign ambassadors to Japan have told Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
The diplomats made their comments during a special meeting Prime Minister Koizumi convened at his Official Residence to discuss Japan's tourism policies and to explore ways in which Japan might promote itself more effectively as an attractive holiday destination for foreign visitors.
