I was tremendously pleased to receive communications from my three immediate "Songfinder" predecessors: Jean Kozel (1985-93), Holly Tannen (1993-97), and Shelley Posen (1997-2002). Each offered words of encouragement (thank you!) from their particular experiences. Jean recalled the myriad of Q&As which came in a variety of typed and handwritten forms. Holly marveled how the advent of the Internet enhanced the songfinding process. And Shelley sent in his findings, citing personal memory and e-searching, on the v.47#3 "Nickel on the Drum" query from Lydia Fish which had been addressed by Lou Curtiss etc. last issue. To me, this exemplifies the exciting array of tools ...
