Retirees seeking active adult housing in Camden county will find a growth market over the next four years and beyond, according to demographic projections and construction statistics.
By 2008, Camden county will be home to nearly 150,000 people aged 45 to 74, the age bracket widely considered to be the target market for active adult housing communities, according to projections by Clalitas, Inc.
Currently, there are 138 active adult housing units available in the county, with 426 more under development.
