CANBERRA, March 4 Asia Pulse - A memorandum of understanding signed today between Australia and one of Dubai's largest food importers, Barakat Vegetable and Fruit Company, will result in Australian food going into the the United Arab Emirates city.

Agriculture Minister Warren Truss said the deal would result in a direct chain from Australian food producers to the suppliers of Dubai's 5-star hotels and even the royal family.
