THE BBC radically stepped up security around presenter Sue Barker last night after she received death threats at her home.
The former tennis star has admitted to being traumatised by letters telling her she will be 'the next Jill Dando'.
In response her bosses have said they will provide her with 'any security she wants'.
In addition to basic measures including upgrading locks and alarms, it is understood her employer would provide her with a bodyguard when travelling to and from home.
They have also offered to pay for 47-year-old Miss Barker to stay in a hotel until the danger is believed ...
