WASHINGTON -- After reporting declines in oil and gas production for three consecutive years, analysts expect Exxon Mobil to focus on its ability to deliver upstream growth in the coming years when it meets with analysts Wednesday in New York for its annual strategy session.
Analysts do not foresee any major surprises emerging from the normally tight-lipped Texas supermajor, however Wall Street is eager to see how involved recently named president Rex Tillerson will be in the presentation. Tillerson is in line to become Exxon Mobil's next chief executive after Lee Raymond, 65, steps down.
