Synchronized figure skating is not an Olympic sport. But perhaps it should be, considering how difficult it is.
Heck, even some Olympians have been known to have trouble getting the basics down.
Twelve-year-old Meagan Murphy, a seventh-grader from Palatine, skates for the Chicago Jazz, a synchronized figure-skating team based in Rolling Meadows.
She gained a newfound respect for herself and her teammates when they performed in a special show called "Dreams on Ice" last month in Bensenville.
