TOKYO, March 9 Asia Pulse - Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corp. (TSE:1983) is planning to offer a variety of new systems that use smart tags and smart cards.

The company aims to raise sales from these operations over the next three years to 3 billion yen (US$27.0 million), just over four times the current amount.

It plans to offer a system that uses smart tags and temperature sensors to monitor the body temperatures of livestock, such as cattle, to determine the proper times for breeding.
